Open Call for Southeast Asian Queer Performing Arts Exchange Program The Southeast Asian Queer Performing Arts Exchange Program is initiated through a collaboration between H0M0HAUS Festival, a performing arts festival dedicated to diversity, and Morasum Network, a regional network of performing arts producers in Southeast Asia. The program seeks to establish a shared platform for knowledge exchange, site-based and community-centered learning, structural dialogue on the performing arts ecosystem and long-term cross-border collaboration within the region. Taking place in Bangkok, Thailand, the participants will explore the interrelationship between art, community, diversity, and cultural politics. This will be realized through field research, community engagement, and active participation in the H0M0HAUS Festival. The program will be facilitated by Thanapol Virulhakul and Paopoom Chiwarak from Backroom – Ritual Studio.
We are inviting 10 theatre and performing arts practitioners at an early stage of their professional careers — including performing artists and performing arts producers — who are currently based in Southeast Asia to travel to Bangkok, Thailand, and participate in this exchange program.
